HAPPY SEPTEMBER!
It’s hard to believe this is the sixth month of The Pretty Dish Book Club. Time has flown by and the community has been wonderful.
You’ve all been making so many recipes from the book — I’m constantly amazed by your photos, feedback, and how many of you are nearly done cooking through the whole book. That enthusiasm makes me so happy.
Most of our book club activity happens on Instagram and in our private Facebook group. If you haven’t joined the Facebook community yet, grab your book and jump in. On Instagram, tag your posts with #theprettydish so we can see and share your creations.
These recipes are perfect for transitioning from summer into autumn: sweet corn, peaches, apples, and cider. It’s one of my favorite times of the year.

I’m so excited about this lineup. The croissant panzanella is outstanding, the pulled pork is comforting and flavorful, the peach corn salsa is bright and spicy, and the sweet potato fritters are a delight. The pumpkin chai sugar scrub is an easy, fragrant DIY treat if you want to try something non-food related.
Remember, these recipes are a guide for our monthly cooking — feel free to make whatever you like. Members in the Facebook group share dozens of adaptations, tips, and helpful tweaks, including dairy-free, gluten-free, and other modifications. It’s a great place to get ideas and inspiration.
