If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve already seen many snapshots of the five days I spent in Nantucket.
I never wanted to leave. Absolutely in love.
We were in Nantucket working with Pavan for the annual Nantucket Film Festival, and the trip was a total blast. I’ll share more about our work there in upcoming posts—photo overload is coming—and of course I can’t wait to tell you where we ate, even though it rained nearly the entire time. Then we returned home to steady downpours; apparently the rain follows me.
While I couldn’t spend every spare minute on the beach, I did explore local shops and markets in search of unique finds to bring home. I spent a lot of time in the bakery (no surprise), wandered the farmer’s market on Saturday morning, and poked around several boutiques. My favorite was Ambrosia, an artisan shop focused on chocolate, spices and tea. I came home with delightful things like merlot salt, rose powder and an organic dark chocolate cocoa nib hot cocoa mix—so good.
Because we loved so many local products, Pavan generously offered to sponsor a giveaway so six readers can try some Nantucket favorites. The island’s culture and charm stole my heart and reminded me of Northern Michigan. If it weren’t for family ties and nostalgia that keep me going back to Northern Michigan each summer, Nantucket might just become my new favorite place. We’re already dreaming of returning every year.
