Hello! I took a week off from my usual favorite links while we were in NYC and missed a lot of great stuff online. I’m absolutely loving this time of year—the crisp air, the sound of leaves underfoot, pumpkins everywhere (sprinkle with cinnamon and burn a vanilla candle!)—and yes, I made homemade pumpkin creamer for coffee because why not. On the downside, I keep finding more Halloween candy. Please, someone make it stop.
Yesterday I shared a video of my autumn sangria, an updated take on my original apple cider sangria recipe. If you follow on Facebook, make sure you’re seeing posts by liking and sharing, since Facebook’s feed can be unpredictable these days.
Last week I contributed lemon lavender cupcakes to The Pioneer Woman’s blog—such a lovely flavor combo for the season.
So—what are your plans for the weekend? What will you be eating? What will you wear? (All non-creepy questions, promise.)
Internet finds this week:
I’m tempted to try making these tiny pumpkin lanterns—so cute and crafty!
These homemade candied pecan pumpkin ice cream drumsticks are making my head spin—a must-try for anyone who loves seasonal desserts.
I’m totally smitten with this caramelized onion and roasted garlic pasta—simple, bold, and comforting.
There’s a pumpkin chocolate crumb cake that keeps popping into my dreams. Need it in real life.
My friend Andie wrote a powerful post titled “I’ll Do It As Soon As I Lose Weight” that’s both honest and relatable.
